Lesson 2: A Sower Went Forth to Sow, is one of ten lessons in this sermon series. There is no question; this is harvest time. We're to be reapers, to gather in the ripened grain. But here is the paradox: we are not only to harvest, we must also sow. If we fail to sow, there will be no harvest. The cycle is meant to be continuous. The fact is too many of us have been uncultivated in righteousness. It’s time to let true repentance break up our fruitless and hardened hearts. When this is done, and when the seed of the Word of Life is sown in, worldly cares and concerns will not arise and choke out the good seeds.
