In Lesson 3 of this 13 part series, we speak on The Law of Divine Judgment. The first thing in these words that we must realize, is that they are to us a revelation of a divine law. A law that operates with unerring certainty throughout the course of the world’s history. Scripture assures us that God is not willing that any should perish. But that all should come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. And for this reason, He is certainly willing to hold back His judgment. However, when He sees that it is no longer possible to restore or recover the man or the country, He lets loose the flood of His divine judgment. There is a God that certainly judges nations and individuals. Look around us: drug addiction; alcoholism; Immorality and perversion; commercial dishonesty; heartless indifference shown to those hopeless and hurting. All are prevalent throughout society today, causing this great country to be, if not dead ,then certainly lying on its deathbed. We shall soon see another “Day of the Lord,” unless we collectively fall on our faces before God in repentance. It is imperative that the church do our part to be the “salt of the earth” that shall keep the soul of society from rotting, and so drive away the vultures of judgment. As we consider history and prophecy in light of current events, we can only conclude that “soon and very soon, we are going to see the King. That future judgment is distinctly a part of the Christian revelation.All men are to be judged by Him. That judgment is to be the destruction of opposing forces. The Law of Divine Judgment is real. Don’t let another day go by that you are not totally surrendered to God. Don’t live another day without the Holy Spirit operating in your life. And don’t let another opportunity pass you by.
