Lesson 6 of a 20 part series, talks about living The Life of Love. The scripture tells us the Devil is the Prince of this world. He has set this world up in such a way as to oppose anything Jesus would ask us to do. We cannot afford to get comfortable with this world system or to allow our lives to be molded by this world. We are called to be separate. Jesus loved the church so much, He was willing to give His life for it. The church is not just a place to go or a thing to do. The church is where Christians live out their faith. It's where Christians fulfill their purpose. Loving Jesus means we love the church and we give ourselves to its plan, vision and purpose just as Jesus gave Himself. Being part of the body helps us to be strong, to have accountability, to grow in the Word and in The Life of Love for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Outside of the church we will be drawn away into loving the things of this world.
